 WORLD CUP QATAR 2022


The World Cup is a great sporting event where the world's best national teams compete. It has been held every four years since 1.930. This event aims at social and cultural integration between the different nations when they arrive in the host country and share with each other.



This year, the World Cup was held in Qatar, an Islamic country where for 10 years they began to build the luxurious stadiums for this great world event, in addition to that people who are going to travel to that country will be able to know and discover the customs and traditions of the host country. However, visitors arriving in this country must respect some rules that are very important for the Qataris, which are the following:


  • Be careful with photographs: People should ask in advance to take a picture of a tourist site or people. 
  • Don't drink alcohol in public or use drugs: It is punishable by law for people to consume any of these substances when in a public space.
  • Dress code for men and women: Fans will have to maintain a modest dress code during their stay in Qatar and may not expose certain body parts despite the heat.
  • Displays of affection in public regardless of sexual orientation: Kissing and holding hands with another person will be limited.
  • Homosexuality punished: It is forbidden to express sexual preferences.
These are some of the rules that visitors must follow and respect when arriving in Qatar to avoid any legal problems during their stay.

The ball started rolling on Sunday, November 20, 2022 and will end on Sunday, December 18, 2022. The reason for playing on that date has to do with the heat, as the previous World Cups were usually played in June and July, but in Qatar the temperature is above 40°C on those dates. This is the reason why they chose a season for everyone to feel comfortable.

There are many ways in which you can learn English but, learning a skill with your own resources is a great challenge that you can propose to learn a language . Today, I'm gonna to show my own way to learning or improving a Skill. WRITING SKILL One of the things that helped me learn to write in English was to learn a lot of vocabulary, especially expressions, verb tenses, routines, adjectives. Then I wrote things about my daily life, my feelings and things I liked. That was one of the best strategies I had to learn to write better and better.
